This interactive piece was inspired by works in Frank Stella's Protractor series. The tiles from which the images are generated are based on Stella's pieces Raqqa II and Harran II. Stella's Protractor series was inspired by his travels through Iran and the Middle East and the pieces are named for circular-plan towns he visited.
