Through deep reflection on her life, Sylvia started to explore creative nonfiction writing. She published an essay for Cultured Magazine 'Things I Learned about Life' which became the basis of her memoir. The memoir itself was posthumously published, Sylvia never got to see her book in print. This garment was the one she wore for her feature in Cultured.
