The high winds whistle on the colony spheres as the sun crawls across the sky.
Banners flutter in the wind, the spheres dance in slow motion as the colony flies far
above the ground. Occasionally a wisp takes off from one sphere to fly to
another. The sounds of tinkling ice crystals, creaking stabilizers and
the drones of wisps sailing past are laid above the constant swoosh of the wind.
As the sun starts to set, the skies take on a reddish tone, heralding the beginning
of a violent dust storm. Clouds of dust pummel the colony spheres, St. Elmo’s fire
giving them an eerie glow in the darkening night skies. The friction from the dust
causes the occasional lightning to light up the skies, the rumble following a few
seconds later.
