The smooth undulating waves were rising up to my knees. The sphere hovered above the waves like a giant droplet in suspension, regarding the sea below it. Is this it. Is that where I came from. Are we all just.. droplets. Broken-off fragments of the sea, living out our fleeting lives and finally returning to the sea to become one again.
